I started teaching in 1980 and have studied art (focusing on technique and different mediums) with several national teachers and went back to school in the 90’s to get a graphic design degree. She studied illustration with Mark English, Skip Liepke and Jack Unruh. I will continue to study until I can’t lift a brush, anymore, because there is always something new and wonderful to learn.

My most favorite thing about the shop is to have people come in and to just connect with them and when they leave they are smiling and I made their day. My father used to say, “If you smile at people it usually leads to pleasant conversation and they just might leave with their own smile to give to the next person."

The shop is about an artist being able to find an art supply quickly with my help, see some one of a kind art and have it displayed in a way to show the customer how it might look in their space. Most of my artists have a wonderful story as you will see on their own pages.
